Logistra

Essen’s Logistra™ is a vehicle-mounted logistics tracking platform that performs live tracking of vehicles on the move as well as of the cargo inside those vehicles. Logistra’s tracking service provides continuous location updates from tags affixed on cargo being transported, through an Interval Tag Receiver add-on within Essen’s vehicle-mounted Strada™ device, that is used in conjunction with Logistra™ Cargo Tags affixed to each item which is to be tracked. These tags are multiple usage and long-lasting, light-weight yet heavy-duty. These 2.4G tags communicate with the tag receiver within Strada™ in the ISM band. Strada™ communicates with an online Server through satellite via broadband GPRS, enabling it to be remotely tracked from anywhere. This in turn allows live tracking of tagged consignments that are travelling along with it.
